Why Africa?

We are off to Kenya to work on the upcoming fall collection! Tom Foolery is partnering with Elimu. a non-profit based in Malindi dedicated to giving women an opportunity to be independent. Their sewing college offers graduates the chance to start their own businesses, own their own land, and take charge of their own lives.

We will be working with current students to make an eight piece collection to show at Paris Fashion Week this fall! With a little hope and a lot of determination, we plan to establish Tom Foolery in Kenya and employ locals ethically (hopefully the first of many sewing shops around the world). This is just the beginning!
